Cinnamon Shore Life Summer 2024

at CINNAMON SHORE Growing Up

After going from bachelor days to husband and father of two, Ames Brown shares how his family’s brand-new beach home became a haven for his family and guests.

T his past March, Ames Brown, his wife Camille Wagner, and their two children stayed for the first time in their brand-new home at Cinnamon Shore South—after construction and move-in were complete! The Austin, Texas, couple married in Spain back in 2017, but had their wedding reception at Cinnamon Shore, where they had a history. Ames had discovered the community while still single back in 2009, investing in a one-bedroom condo in Town Center 1. For a while, it was perfect for him, then for the couple, then for them and their son Ames Earl. “Our son just loved the

beach,” Ames says. “We’ve traveled a lot to a fair bit of the world, and there are a lot of beautiful beaches, but Cinnamon Shore’s is by far the best beach for kids that I have ever been to. Ames Earl loves playing with the sand.” But soon, the one-bedroom started to feel cramped, and it was hard to bring friends with them, and they started thinking about a larger space. Now, daughter Violet has made them a family of four, and they’re thrilled to have built “Lakeside Luxury,” a spacious beach home that’s part of the rental portfolio with six bedrooms, six full baths, and two half baths.
