Roman shades made with a “sweet sailboat fabric” match an enlarged version of the design made into lumbar pillows on the bunks. And for the open book shelves, vintage books add the air of nostalgia. Making a grand entrance The show-stopping, three-story wooden staircase with judge’s paneling is a highlight. “Initially, the home plan called for vinyl plank treads,” Tricia says, “but we all agreed that the focal point as you walk in called for a grand, gorgeous look—and that we got!” She commends the builder for crafting such a stunning staircase, and for the craftsmanship that went into every detail put into this home. “ My client's vision led to one of the most beautiful homes I will ever get to be a part of creating, ” Tricia says.
